I will have to work more on performance I guess

Don't worry too much, on Note4 there are many cardboard games that run slower, just so many pixels to push.

Easiest check is make sure you have minimal overdraw, get your material priorities ordered to draw from front to back on meshes where you know the position will be front to back.

Also GVR build will run faster:

Timewarp ensures tracking is applied just before display out.

Timewarp ensure 60Hz display out.

Engine will probably hit 60Hz pre timewarp because GVR games are given exclusive throttling rights not available to straight Android ( and thus cardboard ) builds.

I just tried it yesterday. It crash after 2-3 minutes BUT IT IS REALY A NICE SPACE GAME :)

And I found annoying that you could not play the game without a gamepad, you could make the same control as for my game while I am putting your control into mine ;)

Yes I really like Elite dangerous and Star Citizen, So I built a toy version of this genre for mobile.

Try an update, version 1.0.18+ fixes that crash (hopefully).

I'm not sure it's possible to convert it to gaze/trigger control, it has quite a deep computer system in the ship which requires DPAD to navigate and also lots of controls on sticks and buttons.

But yeah, not everyone has bluetooth controllers. I will definitely be releasing some gaze/trigger controlled games in the future. Have 2 on the back burner right now.
