Meteors:

Normally reffered to shooting stars, these are some rocks (from tail of comets or from Kupier belt or beyond) that enter into the earth's atmosphere and burn in the mesosphere due to extreme heat and pressure. This produces the effect of a shooting star.

Comets:

These are prices of ice and rocks that usually belong to the oort cloud and revolve uround the sun in a particular orbit and time. They glow when they get near to the Sun and their tail always faces away from the sun. These are differentiated maily into long term and short term...
